These penalties will be doubled in the second year if accounts are late 2 years in succession.
VAT return
End of month following return period (penalty for 2nd offence within 12 months). One week extra time if filed online (mandatory for most businesses from April 2010)
Notification of self employment
3 months after the end of the month of commencement (£100 penalty)
New company information declaration to HMRC
3 months after the end of the month of commencement of trading (£100 penalty)
CIS contractors returns
Monthly filing (£100 penalty) by 19th of following month
